Our History

The burden to plant a Foursquare Church of African descent in the United States of America has always been a desire of the Senior Pastor and Co-Pastor, Richard, and Modupe Oloidi, having served as Pastors for Thirty- two (32) years in Nigeria. The objective is to bring people in contact with the sound doctrine preached and practiced by Foursquare denomination. With this desire, a home fellowship commenced in the living room of our pastors in 2011. Within four months, the home cell grew, and the living room could not contain the used.

Men and women responded to the invitation to receive God’s provisions of freedom from sin, sickness, and Satan’s yoke. With the membership growth, the Church moved into a rented apartment along Hwy 85 Riverdale GA and later moved to Scott Road, Riverdale GA, in 2014. In 2019, the Church moved to her place of worship at 8291 Webb Road, Riverdale, GA 30274.

The Church was officially registered as a Sub-unit of the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel, Los Angeles, California, on December 23, 2010. It was also registered in the State of Georgia and the City of Riverdale to carry out religious activities.

Our belief, at Riverdale Foursquare Church, aka King’s Palace, is that Jesus Christ is our Savior, Baptizer With the Holy Spirit, Healer, and Soon-Coming King. We are affiliated to the following:

We are a Great Commission movement transforming communities through the multiplication of disciples, leaders, churches, and movements.  Currently, the majority of Foursquare churches are outside the U.S.

Riverdale Foursquare Church is under the Atlantic District of the Foursquare Church, which serves Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. Our district comprises many nations, ethnicities, cultures, and languages
